Introduction to the Word Wall
Everything you need to create a wall of sight words is available here. First, simply download and print the delightful Garfield alphabet. If you want to jazz up the alphabet a bit, have your students color the Garfield graphic for each letter. The colorful images might help them remember the letter, and they will feel a sense of ownership as they look at their artistic work each day. Next, print the list of words you would like to use. Add the words to your wall, and you have an engaging reference for children to use as they master this important sight-word vocabulary.
